Breathtaking location right on the edge of a canyon! The views were absolutely stunning and I couldn't get enough of the sunrise and sunset. The serenity and beauty of nature surrounding the lodge was a truly unforgettable experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, ensuring a restful stay. The meals were surprisingly diverse and delicious, considering the remote location, and the effort put into sourcing fresh ingredients was commendable. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the limited hot water in the mornings and a slow check-out process, the overall experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a unique and awe-inspiring getaway.

The lodge is located in a remote area with breathtaking views of the canyon. The individual cabins provide privacy and all offer a panoramic view. The rooms are comfortable with single beds and have both inside and outside showers. The lodge also has an outside yoga platform and offers mat rentals. Guests can enjoy walks to the lookout point and swimming in the nearby water. The lodge's eco-friendly approach and great philosophy create a unique atmosphere. The communal area with a bar and swimming pool is a great place to relax.
The food offering at the lodge was not up to standard, with complaints about the tough lamb meal and running out of bacon and sausage at breakfast.

Breakfast delights, but the bacon and sausage were unfortunately not available during our stay.

My partner and I stayed at this unique hotel for a second honeymoon and it exceeded all our expectations. The location and views over the canyon are absolutely breathtaking. The private chalet-style rooms have a nice terrace and outdoor shower. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The design of the place is amazing, with a pool overlooking the canyon and stunning sunrise and sunset views. We also enjoyed the guided hikes along the canyon rims. Driving there in a normal car was doable. Highly recommended!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I recently stayed at this amazing lodge near the Fish River Canyon for a few nights. The view of the canyon from the main building and every room was absolutely superb, providing a unique and breathtaking experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and private, with thoughtful touches like a torch to navigate at night. Despite the lack of air conditioning, opening the windows allowed for a comfortable breeze. The staff was friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist. The food was of a high standard, and the bar offered a great selection of drinks. The highlight of our stay was the 7-hour canyon drive, which was immensely enjoyable. The driver was very competent and made frequent stops to point out the beauty of the surroundings. Highly recommended!
I would recommend this hotel.
